Safety and Care

Each instructor is responsible for inspecting his/her teaching area and identifying potential safety concerns. Students must be informed of any concerns and given proper safety instructions. The PAC Coordinator or Facilities Director must be notified immediately if something is in need of repair. It also allows instructors to identify equipment needs. Custodial service is contracted through an outside agency. The service does not always provide sufficient floor cleaning for activity. If instructors need to clean floors, check with the Coordinator for the location of equipment. Tape is not to be put on floors without prior permission. Only floor tape is to be used. Check with the Coordinator for permission.
