Using a performance measurement approach, these status reports assess the successes and challenges experienced in the pursuit of Healthy Start's goals to create wellness for Oregon children and their families.

2000 Healthy Start Cost Benefit
This cost benefit analysis examines the relevant monetary benefits and costs of the Oregon Healthy Start system of supports for higher risk, first time families. Anticipated benefits from participation in two-years of Oregon Healthy Start (OHS) home visitation were compared to the costs of two years of program delivery.

1999 Healthy Start Implementation Study
Implementing Oregon Healthy Start: How Are We Doing? describes 14 Healthy Start sites, the challenges they have faced in implementing aspects of the Healthy Start framework and strategies they have found successful. County sites include: Clackamas, Clatsop, Deschutes, Harney, Hood River, Jackson, Josephine, Lane, Linn, Marion/Polk (combined), Tillamook, Union, Wasco/Sherman (combined), and Washington.
