Early Childhood Leadership
Directions
Early Childhood Leadership Directions (ECLD) is a highly successful professional development program that prepares exemplary leaders in health, mental health, human services, and education. In 2007-8, ECLD receives support from the Northwest Health Foundation, the Oregon Community Foundation, the Carpenter Foundation, the OSU Women's Giving Circle, and individual donors to strengthen leaders' competence and capacity to enhance health and mental health for young children and their families in rural Oregon communities.
Gerontology
Program
This program prepares undergraduate and graduate students to work with older
adults in human services, health care, counseling, nutrition, pharmacy and senior
facilities.
Rural Links
The Rural Links Project is a collaboration among three universities
on four campuses and rural community partners to recruit, prepare
and place licensed early interventionists and preschool/elementary
teachers of children with significant disabilities in rural areas
where they are most needed.
