Endowed Director, Hallie Ford Center for Healthy Children and Families
The College of Health and Human Sciences invites applications for an Endowed Director of the newly formed Hallie Ford Center for Healthy Children and Families. This is a 12-month, full time, (1.0 FTE), fixed term position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Dean. A generous private endowment was recently established to create this Center including funds for this position, a new building, and infrastructure for an enthusiastic leader to move the Center forward. The candidate will have the academic background including a PhD or terminal degree and expertise to meet the expectation of rank of Full Professor with indefinite tenure in an academic department within the College. Public Health
Assistant/Associate Professors of Epidemiology
The Department of Public Health at Oregon State University seeks to hire two to three candidates with expertise in epidemiology. These are full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month tenure track appointments for Assistant and/or Associate Professors of Epidemiology. A doctorate in Epidemiology is required. Successful applicants must have a record of extramural funding, peer-reviewed publications and a clearly defined research agenda commensurate with academic rank. A commitment to high teaching standards is required. We are particularly interested in candidates with research programs that align with the mission of our college, especially research in chronic diseases, environmental health or public health nutrition and those with a focus on social determinants, policy implications, and under-served and international populations. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
