OSU ATEP Transfer Policy

Students contemplating transfer to Oregon State University are encouraged to do so, but should begin with the Fall Term of any given academic year. Due to competition for the limited number of spaces in the program, no guarantees of admission can be made (neither to true freshmen nor to transfer students). A minimum of three (3) years of study at OSU are required to complete the Athletic Training option, regardless of class standing and number of credits completed prior to transfer. In most cases, transfer students will require four years of study, e.g., one year of directed observation plus three years in the clinical and didactic phases of the program, to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in the OSU Athletic Training option.
