Undergraduate Studies in Nutrition Science - Nutrition at the Molecular Level

Nutrition Students

General Information

This option is designed for students who wish to delve more deeply into the scientific basis for nutrition. It is an application of basic sciences, physiology, and biochemistry.

The Nutrition Science option is for those students who have professional goals to develop a career in medicine, academia and/or health related research. The emphasis on the natural sciences gives foundation needed for these careers. Successful completion of this option serves as a 1st step to further education - whether medical, dental, or graduate school.
