Health Management and Policy

Health Management and Policy (HMP) is one of the fastest growing and exciting fields in our country today. The HMP program at Oregon State University is appropriate for those who want to manage clinics and health programs in a wide range of institutions, both public and private. The degree also prepares students for public and private sector careers in public health policy, planning, and advocacy. In addition, a degree in Health Management and Policy is appropriate for those who plan to manage or direct programs in international health agencies. The curriculum provides students with the necessary skills for contemporary health management practice and policy analysis. Our graduates find ready employment in federal and state agencies, in the long-term care industry,in the analysis of public health policies and as managers of hospitals, clinics, HMOs and health departments.
