Master of Public Health
The Oregon Master of Public Health (OMPH) degree program is a joint graduate program offered by Oregon State University, Oregon Health and Sciences University, and Portland State University. You can find out more about this partnership on their webpage. The OMPH program, which began operations in 1994, is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.
Oregon State University offers the most comprehensive range of MPH degree options in four major tracks:
All students in the OMPH must take a common MPH core of five courses in the following areas: epidemiology, biostatistics/biometry, health systems organization, environmental health, and health behavior. In addition, each OMPH track has specific course requirements.
