Emily Boshuizen was awarded her second URAP project as an Apprentice. She was being mentored by Dr. Jeff Widrick, who is a faculty member in the Nutrition and Exercise Sciences department, on a project entitled: "Mechanisms of Muscle Damage."
Heather Hodnett similarly worked on her second URAP project as an Apprentice. Her project looked at the muscle activation differences in males and females. Dr. Mark Hoffman supervises the project, and is a faculty member in the Nutrition and Exercise Sciences department.
Margaret McNamara worked as a Researcher under Dr. Atiya Mahmood (Design & Human Environment) studying the role of neighborhood physical environment and social capital on physical activity of older adults.
Brittany Parmeter Apprenticed with Dr. Megan McClelland (Human Development and Family Sciences) on her research investigating improvement of school readiness in young children.
Tosha Reinmiller served as a Researcher for Drs Leslie Burns and Carol Caughey, faculty members in the Design and Human Environment.
