- Student Ambassadors: The student workers in the Office of Academic Advising and Student Services are
Ambassadors. Ambassadors serve as representatives for the College of Health and Human Sciences and are
responsible for supporting the College's retention and recruitment efforts. Ambassadors lend support by
assisting students with online registration and prospective student visits; providing clerical support
for the College's Academic Advising and Student Services Office; assisting with new student orientation
programs; as well as representing the college at on-campus recruiting events. Ambassadors also support
advising of prospective and current students about major selection and provide information regarding
the majors/options within the college. Ambassadors are hired in the spring term and students with a
strong interest in supporting the advising office's mission are encouraged to apply. Stop by Milam
